Our New Year sale is now live! Select Akaushi roasts and ground beef have been marked down. We received a little bit of snow, but due to the mild winter this year its mostly been rain. Hopefully we can get some late spring rains this year!
]]>Just wanted to give a quick update on where we are at with our next batch of Akaushi Beef. Our steers were harvested in October and are currently dry aging. We anticipate being full restocked by the end of November (hopefully before Thanksgiving!). We will notify every one on our e-mailing list and on our social media accounts when our store is restocked.
We are currently working with a new butcher and hope to have some of the consistency issues we have had this year resolved. We are also working hard to ensure a consistent harvest schedule for next year, which means we can keep the cuts of meat you love in stock more frequently!
We thank you for your patience and continued support!
Sincerely,
The Batistich Family
]]>We are long overdue for some news so I just wanted to give some updates on a few things. Our reservoir has been out of commission for about two years due to maintenance and was finally repaired this month! Water storage is an important safety net for our ranch that allows us to make it through the dry summer and fall months when rain fall is scarce. About 800 truckloads of nutrient dense sediment had to be removed from the reservoir in order to increase its hold capacity. All that sediment was then spread over our pastures and fields to fortify our ground which makes nutrient dense feed for our Akaushi cattle.
As you may have noticed, we are nearly sold out of everything! Many of you have been inquiring as to when we will have more of your favorite cuts of Akaushi beef available. Well I am happy to announce that we will be fully restocked by the end of November. Some of our items are in high demand so if there is a cut of meat that is sold out just send us an email and we can reserve it for you. That way you and your family can enjoy our Akaushi Beef for the holidays!
]]>As a status update for us, we do not anticipate any disruption in our day to day operations in the near future. We are still planting crops and tending to our animals and shipping meat every week! From our family to yours, we wish every one peace and health! Chag Pesach Sameach and a Happy Easter!
G-d Bless!
