Shipping policy

In order to ensure that your Marble Mountain Meats order reaches you in a timely manner with all products in excellent condition, we’ve outlined the following guidelines.

We ship on the following business days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Orders placed after 11:00 AM PST will ship the next eligible business day. Shipped orders cannot be delivered on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping may be interrupted or delayed due to Federal holidays. If this occurs, your order will be shipped on the next eligible business day.

*** UPS SHIPPING AND ORDER PLACEMENT***

Orders placed on Monday and Tuesdays - Customers may select UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, or Standard Ground Shipping.

Orders placed on Wednesdays - Customers may select UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air.

* Orders with Standard Ground Shipping that have a 3-day transit time will not ship until the following Monday. *

Orders placed on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday - Customers may select any Shipping option, but your order will not be shipped until the following eligible business day.

- FEDEX OVERNIGHT SHIPPING (Next Business Day)

Orders selected for Overnight Shipping that are placed on Monday thru Thursday before 11:00 am PST will be shipped same week. Otherwise the order will be shipped the following Monday.

With Overnight Shipping, Marble Mountain Meats Akaushi beef products will arrive completely frozen. It is normal for the dry ice to have dissipated. In most cases, a portion of the dry ice is still solid (it hasn’t fully evaporated). Please follow the instructions for handling dry ice. These instructions are included in each Marble Mountain Meats package.

- FEDEX 2-DAY SHIPPING (2 Business Days)

Orders selected for 2 Day Shipping that are placed on Monday thru Wednesday before 11:00 AM PST will be shipped same week. Otherwise the order will be shipped the following Monday.

With 2-Day Shipping, Marble Mountain Meats Akaushi beef products will arrive completely frozen OR partially thawed, due to the extended transit time. It is normal for the dry ice to have dissipated. With 2-Day Shipping, it is likely that all of the dry ice will have evaporated. The insulation will ensure that the product(s) remain cold. Please follow the instructions for handling dry ice. These instructions are included in each Marble Mountain Meats package.

- FEDEX 3-DAY SHIPPING (3 Business Days)

Orders selected for 3 Day Shipping that are placed on Monday or Tuesday before 11:00 AM PST will be shipped same week. Orders with 3 Day Shipping that are received on Tuesday after 11:00 AM PST will be shipped the following Monday. We apologize for the inconvenience.

With 3-Day Shipping Marble Mountain Meats Akaushi beef products will arrive completely frozen OR partially thawed, due to the extended transit time. It is normal for the dry ice to have dissipated. With 3-Day Shipping, it is likely that all of the dry ice will have evaporated. The insulation will ensure that the product(s) remain cold. Please follow the instructions for handling dry ice. These instructions are included in each Marble Mountain Meats package.

SHIPPING PERISHABLE GOODS

When delivered on time and retrieved within 4-6 hours of delivery, your Marble Mountain Meats products should arrive refrigerator cold—below 40°F.

We recommend checking the internal temperature of any meat that has arrived fully thawed with a meat thermometer. In accordance with USDA Freezing and Food Safety Guidelines, meats that are refrigerator cold, partly frozen (solid), or frozen can be placed into the freezer for later use. You should immediately discard any meat that is above 40°F or meat that is exactly 40°F that may have been so for more than 2 hours.

PACKAGING

Each frozen and individually vacuum sealed product is carefully packed into a cardboard box lined with an insulation liner. In order to maintain the integrity of the package contents, all beef products are packed with dry ice. Orders will be delivered frozen OR slightly thawed (but still cold) depending on the time in transit.

COST AND CARRIERS

We use FedEx and UPS ground to ship our orders.

We do our best to minimize the cost of shipping. However, shipping perishable products is expensive. Instead of inflating the costs of our products, we allow you to choose your shipping method based on the exact shipping cost.

Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of your order plus the dry ice or ice packs, the shipping method selected, and the distance your order needs to travel. All orders ship from California.

** IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTES **

We ship to qualifying addresses in the United States of America mainland.

Each individual order must ship to a single qualifying physical address.

All shipments require a street address.
We're unable to ship to PO Box addresses or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Marble Mountain Meats is not responsible for any shipment that is delivered incorrectly and/or undeliverable due to incomplete, incorrect and/or invalid shipping addresses. Please double check your shipping address when placing your order.

Estimated delivery dates are subject to change and do not include weekends or holidays.

Unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, can cause shipments to be delayed.

Marble Mountain Meats is not responsible for shipping delays or problems caused by the shipping company, failed delivery attempts, adverse or unpredictable weather conditions and/or acts of god.
